September’s here and that means it’s almost time for Danielle’s FAVORITE Niagara Wine Trail event of the entire year: Harvest Fest!
Experience Harvest Season on the Niagara Wine Trail during our annual food & wine pairing Harvest Festival Showcase! Travel from winery to winery sampling unique food pairings with locally crafted artisan wines. Over the course of one weekend, taste a different wine pairing & accompanying food sample at each winery. 🍷
Your weekend tasting pass includes:
3 tastes of wine and a Fall themed food pairing at each of the participating Niagara Wine Trail wineries, plus a souvenir tasting glass!
Learn how wine can pair with every part of a meal – from appetizers, t0 entrees and dessert!
Featured Wine Pairings to include:
- Long Cliff Vineyard and Winery: Pumpkin Lentil Soup with our newest semi-sweet red wine Release, Winter Reverie!
- Anthony Manor Farm Winery: Fall Harvest Chowder Shooters with an assortment of wines
- Bella Rose Vineyard & Winery : pair your tasting with a choice of mini cheesecakes.
- Honeymoon Trail Winery : Ham and Cheese Sliders paired with Tropical Honeymoon Wine and Pina Colada Wine Slushies
- Lake Ontario Winery : Fall Harvest Flatbread paired with Harvest Wine (semi-sweet) and Hard Ciders (choice of cider will be available)
- Schulze Wines : Hiller’s Fresh Corn Dip paired with suggested wines: Chardonnay (dry), Vidal Blanc (semi-dry), or Siegfried (semi-sweet).
- The Winery at Marjim Manor : Chicken and Broccoli over rice (or just broccoli and rice for a vegetarian option), served with a choice of Plum Dandy and Starlight wines
- Victorianbourg Wine Estate : Savory pumpkin bisque, paired with Gewürztraminer, raspberry infused Toriamour, or hot, spicy Vika wines.
- Vizcarra Vineyards at Becker Farms : Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes paired with a selection of sweet wines and hard ciders.
